Class 1 HGV Driver Nights

Looking for a long-term Class 1 opportunity?

Russell Taylor CDI are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client in Warrington.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering £17.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks, followed by a permanent salary of £46,000 per annum.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be completing general haulage work, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.

Your duties will include:

  • General haulage deliveries and collections
  • Completing vehicle checks before and during your shift
  • Ensuring loads are safely secured
  • Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
  • Providing a professional service to customers

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Minimum 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
