Are you an experienced Shunter looking for flexible, ongoing work with competitive pay? Job&Talent is hiring Class 1 shunter drivers on behalf of one of the UK's leading logistics companies in Oldbury. Enjoy competitive pay, flexible shifts, and long-term employment stability.

Pay & Shifts

  • £18.26 - £27.39 per hour depending on shift
  • Shift start and finish 18:30 - 03:00
  • Monday to Friday shift pattern

The Role

  • Shunting trailers safely around the yard
  • Moving trailers between loading bays and parking areas
  • Completing vehicle safety checks
  • Operating a turberg

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence (Category C+E)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Current Driver CPC qualification
  • Minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points (DR, DD, IN, and TT endorsements not accepted)

Desirable Skills

  • Reliable, professional drivers with a strong work ethic
  • Good communication and awareness of yard safety
  • Previous shunting experience is a fast pasted environment
