Class 1 Bulk Metal Waste Tipper Driver – Northfleet
Experienced Class 1 Tipper Drivers Required
We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (LGV 1) Tipper Drivers for our client based in Northfleet.
The role involves driving bulk metal waste tipper vehicles, with drivers responsible for the safe transportation and tipping of metal waste. Previous experience operating Class 1 tipper is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced Class 1 drivers looking for regular, ongoing work.
Class 1 Driver Position Details
- Start Date: Immediate Start
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, day work
- Location: Northfleet
- Pay: £20 per hour (PAYE Advanced – Minimum 8 hours’ pay per day)
- Work: Bulk Metal Waste Tipper

Class 1 Tipper Driver Duties
- Driving LGV 1 Vehicles (Category C+E / Class 1)
- Operating bulk metal waste tipper vehicles
- Transporting and tipping metal waste safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Following all loading and tipping procedures
- Ensuring loads are transported securely and safely
- Complying with WTR and tachograph regulations
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition
- Working professionally and responsibly at all times
Class 1 Tipper Driver Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
- Previous tipper experience – ESSENTIAL
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Please note: Relevant bulk metal waste tipper experience is essential for this position.
