Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver based in Coatbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established transport operation offering guaranteed hours, regular overtime, and generous overnight allowances.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Tramping Monday to Thursday
- Paid travel home on Friday
- Minimum of 45 hours per week
- Consistent overtime available for those who want it
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Class 1 deliveries and collections across the UK
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
- Securing loads safely and delivering goods on time
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required
- Maintaining high standards of customer service when delivering to clients
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and driving regulations

What We're Looking For:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 tramping experience preferred
- Strong understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
- Successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting employment
