Are you an experienced Class 1 Welder, Welder Fabricator or coded welding professional looking for a permanent day-shift role with an outstanding benefits package?
Weâre recruiting for a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business producing high-quality fabricated equipment for major industrial projects.
The package:
- Up to ÂŁ40,000 depending on experience + 2 annual bonuses
- Overtime at time and a half â circa ÂŁ30.75 per hour

Working hours:
- MondayâThursday: 7:30amâ4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30amâ1:00pm
- No night shifts.
The Role
Youâll be carrying out high-quality Class 1 welding and fabrication on engineered products and assemblies where weld quality, accuracy and traceability are critical.
Key responsibilities will include:
- MIG / MAG welding and fabrication
- Working accurately from engineering drawings
- Preparing, fitting and welding fabricated components
- Working to approved welding procedures and quality standards
- Producing consistently high-quality welds
- Supporting fabrication, plating and wider manufacturing activities
- Maintaining excellent health, safety and housekeeping standards
What weâre looking for:
- Proven Class 1 Welder / Fabricator experience
- Strong MIG / MAG welding skills
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Experience producing welds to demanding quality standards
- Coded welding experience would be highly relevant
- X-ray / radiographic weld inspection experience or exposure would be a major advantage
- Backgrounds in heavy engineering, pressure equipment, oil & gas, energy, combustion, process equipment or similar manufacturing environments are particularly welcome
