Class 2 HGV Driver Pallet Network Multi-Drop

Pay Rate: £30,160 per Annum, overtime available
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (ST1 5GP)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Minimum Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week

Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer-focused Class 2 Driver looking for a stable role with consistent weekday work and a well-established transport operation.

The Role

As a Class 2 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections across the local and regional network. You will ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain delivery paperwork and electronic PODs as required.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service to customers at all times.
  • Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.
  • Ensure your vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am start time
  • Minimum 40-hour contract
  • Saturdays worked on a rota basis (1 in every 9)

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • Current Driver CPC qualification.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
