Class 2 Driver
Location: Worcester
Salary: £16.32 per hour
Our client, a well-established distribution business supplying products to commercial customers across the UK, are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their Worcester depot on a permanent basis, completing multi-drop deliveries whilst providing a high standard of customer service.
Job Overview
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer sites
- Average of 15 drops per day
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Ensure deliveries are completed professionally and on time
- Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and vehicle records
- Keep vehicles clean, fuelled, and ready for operation
- Report any incidents or accidents in line with company procedures

Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 month Class 2 Experience
- Previous multi-drop driving experience would be advantageous
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and transport legislation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Health & Safety conscious with a professional approach
Salary & Benefits
- £16.32 per hour
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday - Friday, Guaranteed 45-hour working week
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Variable start and finish times with occasional nights out
- Monthly bonus scheme of up to £150 following successful probation
- Full uniform and kit provided
- 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
