# Class 2 Driver – HGV Job (Morrisons Bridgewater)
Pay Rate: £39,054.63 + £3,000.00 annual bonus
Grade: P Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift Patterns: 4 on, 4 off (Rolling Rota) – Average start time between 4am – 6am Location: Bridgewater, TA6 4AT

You’ll be part of a hardworking team ensuring our supplier partners and customers in the South West and South Wales receive their deliveries securely and efficiently.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
✅ Multi-drop deliveries – Transport cages, pallets, and bulk goods directly to customer premises. ✅ Safety-first approach – Drive in compliance with the Driver’s Hours Directive, Highway Code, and HGV regulations. ✅ Proactive checks – Spend time on pre- and post-drive vehicle inspections to ensure everything is roadworthy. ✅ Manual Handling – Assist with lifting, stacking, and securing loads according to health and safety standards.

Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Class 2 driver with These skills and criteria:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (C category) licence & Driver CPC certification
- Digital Tachograph Card – essential for the role
- Hands-on, recent driving experience (at least 6 months in a similar role is ideal)
- Strong work ethic – Broad business hours (earlier start shifts) mean you’ll meet tight delivery deadlines
- Ability to handle physical labour – As part of load handling and working in busy storage environments
- Fitness assurance – Quick reactions and early starts are a part of this role
- DHL preferred candidates with temperate attitudes that avoid sudden rush.
