Role Description
The Class 2 Driver will work full time on-site in Oxford, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, collection, and transfer of powered access equipment between depots and customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Vehicle checks

- Maintaining clear communication with the transport office and customers

The role involves:
- Adhering to all relevant road transport and health and safety regulations
- Representing the company professionally on-site
- Assisting customers with basic guidance on equipment handover when required
The driver will also:
- Help keep vehicles and yard areas organized
- Report any defects or incidents promptly
- Support the wider operations team to ensure timely service and a high standard of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence, with a clean or acceptable driving record and current Driver CPC qualification.
- Experience driving and maneuvering large commercial vehicles, ideally delivering construction or powered access equipment.
- Strong understanding of road safety, load securing, and transport regulations, with a commitment to safe working practices.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally on-site.
- Good time management and reliability, with the ability to follow schedules, complete paperwork accurately, and work with minimal supervision.
- Basic mechanical awareness and willingness to learn about powered access equipment handling and site requirements.
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely, including loading and unloading equipment using appropriate tools and procedures.
- Previous experience in powered access, plant hire, construction, or related sectors is beneficial but not essential; IPAF or PASMA awareness is an advantage.
