Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support one of our established customers based in Sutton Coldfield. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday day work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a professional, well-established business.

Our customer is part of one of the UK's leading distributors of paper, print materials and packaging products, operating an extensive nationwide distribution network and supplying businesses throughout the UK. The role involves completing multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised products to commercial customers. Products are palletised with occasional handball involved, making this a straightforward Class 2 delivery role.

Drivers can typically expect 06:00 starts Monday to Friday, completing a professionally planned multi-drop delivery route before returning to the Sutton Coldfield depot.

Rates for an HGV Class 2 Driver

  • Monday to Friday - £15.00 per hour (+ holiday accrual) or £16.81ph (with holiday pay rolled up)
  • Saturday - £17.00 per hour (+ holiday accrual) or £19.05ph (with holiday pay rolled up)
  • Sunday & Bank Holidays - £18.00 per hour (+ holiday accrual) or £20.17ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

To be successful in this HGV Class 2 Driver role, you will need:

  • UK Category C Licence
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Valid Driver CPC Card
  • Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
  • Multi-drop delivery experience preferred
  • Maximum 6 points on your licence, with no serious endorsements
  • A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude

This position is ideally suited to an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking to move away from ad-hoc agency work and secure a regular Monday to Friday position with the opportunity to become a permanent employee.
