💷 Pay Rate: £17.63 per hour

Are you a newly qualified Class 2 Driver looking for your first opportunity, or an experienced HGV Driver ready for a new challenge?
Our client is seeking reliable and motivated Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. No previous Class 2 driving experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for newly qualified drivers looking to build their career.
This role involves the collection of food waste from commercial customer sites, helping to support a sustainable recycling process that turns waste into renewable energy. This is predominantly a lone-working position, so applicants should be comfortable working independently, managing their own routes, and delivering excellent customer service throughout the day.

- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to collect food waste from customer locations.
- Working independently and managing your daily collection route.
- Carrying out timely and efficient collections while maintaining high safety standards.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Providing excellent customer service and acting as a professional representative of the business.
- Returning collected food waste to the processing facility for recycling into renewable energy.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Comfortable with lone working and managing your own workload.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
