  • Deliver stacks of potatoes safely and efficiently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Newly qualified Class 2 drivers will be considered, provided they have some driving experience.
  • A valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • No more than 5 penalty points (no DR, IN or TT endorsements).
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safe driving.

Pay Rates

  • £16.00 per hour plus £1.93 per hour accrued holiday pay (equivalent to £17.93 per hour including holiday pay).

Holiday Pay

We believe professional HGV Drivers deserve proper paid annual leave. Rather than rolling your holiday pay into every hourly rate, your holiday entitlement builds up as you work and is ready to be paid when you book time off.

That means when you take a well-earned break, your holiday pay is there waiting for you.

Your holiday pay is accrued separately and paid when you take annual leave, ensuring you're fairly rewarded while encouraging regular time off, which we believe is essential for safety, wellbeing, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Why drive for Pure Staff?

  • We employ every driver directly - 100% in-house PAYE with Pure Staff.
  • No umbrella companies. No payroll companies. No third-party providers. Your employment is directly with us.
  • Weekly Friday pay processed by our own experienced in-house payroll team.
  • Paid correctly and on time (99.9% of the time) with any issues promptly investigated and corrected!
  • No payroll processing fees. No administration charges. Ever.
  • Holiday pay is accrued separately, so when you take a well-earned break you still receive holiday pay. We believe professional drivers deserve proper paid annual leave, rather than having holiday pay rolled into every hourly rate.
  • Friendly, experienced transport consultants who understand HGV driving!
  • Honest pay rates with no misleading 'assignment rates' or inflated umbrella figures.
