Pay Rate: £45,876.37

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 3 shift rotation: 5 On 2 Off, 4 On 2 Off and 4 On 2 Off - Tuesday to Saturday (can be flexible) 6am start & 10 hour Days

Location: Hatfield (AL10 9BD)

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Deliver a range of bulky household items, including wardrobes, beds, mattresses, and sofas, directly to customers' homes
  • Take an active role in loading and unloading goods, using safe manual handling techniques
  • Complete between 15–35 deliveries per day, depending on your assigned route
  • Work as part of a two-person delivery team, partnering with a Driver's Mate or another qualified Driver
  • Drive safely and efficiently at all times, fully adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, always following the Highway Code, road safety guidelines, and vehicle compliance rules

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
