About the Role:
We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at our Ellon depot. This is more than just a driving role, it’s an opportunity to become the face of Johnston Oils, delivering essential fuel and lubricants to our domestic, agricultural and commercial customers across the region.

What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a HGV 6-wheeler to deliver fuel to customers across the local area.
- Complete bulk and hose deliveries (from 500 litres to full loads).
- Load and unload fuel safely, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Follow planned delivery schedules to ensure timely, accurate service.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and PDA documentation.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service, you’ll be a key part of our reputation.
- Support neighbouring depots when required.
About You:
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence - with ADR (however training is available for the right person!)
- Proven experience as an HGV driver; tanker experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Confident, adaptable driver who can manage varied road conditions.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Physically fit and able to manage loading/unloading tasks.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to support regional operations when needed.
