About The Role

Pertemps Warrington is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a full-time, hands-on role based in Alcester, paying £16.85 per hour. You will deliver beer kegs, cases, and crates of alcohol to pubs, restaurants, and hospitality venues across the region. Working alongside a driver’s mate, you will handle multiple drops daily, combining safe vehicle operation with physical unloading.

Shifts start between 06:00 and 08:00, with an average length of ten hours, on a Tuesday-to-Friday or Tuesday-to-Saturday pattern. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, provided they hold the relevant licence. This position suits individuals comfortable with manual work and multi-stop routes, offering steady hours and consistent weekly earnings.

We are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers to join a drinks delivery operation based in Alcester. This is a hands-on driving role delivering beer kegs, cases and crates of alcohol to pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues.

You will be working with a driver’s mate, who will assist you throughout the day with unloading and completing deliveries. Routes will involve multiple drops, so we are looking for drivers who are comfortable with both driving and manual handling.

What The Role Involves

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
  • Delivering beer kegs, crates and cases of alcohol
  • Completing deliveries to pubs, restaurants and hospitality venues
  • Carrying out multiple drops during each shift
  • Working alongside an experienced driver’s mate
  • Loading and unloading heavy products
  • Checking deliveries and making sure the correct items reach each customer
  • Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery point
  • Completing vehicle checks and reporting any problems
  • Following road safety, manual-handling and company procedures

Driver Requirements

To Be Considered For This Position, You Must

  • Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Be aged 25 or over
  • Have no more than six points on your driving licence
  • Have no licence endorsements
  • Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving heavy kegs and crates
  • Be reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a two-person delivery team
  • Have a professional and customer-friendly attitude
