Class 2 Driver (Cat C) | Doncaster | Up to £17.00 per Hour + Nights Out

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for excellent rates of pay, regular work, and the support of a driver's mate on every route? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for drivers in Doncaster (DN8 5). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation delivering high-quality products across the UK.
Pay & Benefits
- £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
- £25.00 per night out
- Time and a half on Saturdays - £25.50
- Double time on Sundays (£34.00 per hour)
- Optional Sunday work available
- Full training and ongoing support provided
- Driver's mate provided on all routes
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering kitchen products to:
- Retail locations
- Residential home delivery customers
- New build construction sites

Duties Include:
- Delivering kitchens nationwide across the UK
- Completing between 1 and 10 drops per day
- Working alongside a dedicated driver's mate
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of kitchen units
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Following all site safety procedures
Nights Out
- Typically 1-4 nights out per week
- Modern vehicles with separate bunk beds for both driver and driver's mate
- Night out allowance paid at £25.00 per night
Shift Information
- Monday to Friday operation
- Optional Sunday shifts available
- Start times between 04:30 and 06:30
- Ongoing work until the end of September
Training & Onboarding
Our client offers a comprehensive induction process to ensure you're fully prepared:
- Driving assessment
- 3-day onsite training programme including:
- Warehouse tour
- Showroom tour
- PDA training
- Offloading procedures
- 2 days on the road with an experienced driver
- Week 2 working independently with your own driver's mate

Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DD, DR, IN or similar driving convictions
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
PPE & Uniform
- Safety boots required
- Hi-vis vest required (will be provided)
- Dark workwear required (black cargo trousers and black/navy top)
- Client branded polo shirts available if required
