Gr8 Connect - Class 2 Drivers Wanted
Gr8 Connect are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Follow company policies and procedures for safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving.
- Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- A valid Full UK driving license, CPC, and Tacho card.
