Class 2 Lorry Driver – Permanent Position (Full-Time)
About the Role
Are you an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver looking for a stable position with a trusted company? Do you have the driving skills and customer service passion to deliver five-star experiences?
We at GXO are offering an opportunity for highly qualified Class 2 Lorry Drivers to join our team at our Dunstable distribution centre, serving a major retail client in a permanent, full-time role (40.25 hours per week).
Terms & Conditions
- Fourth-on, fourth-off shift pattern (rotating start times between 02:00 and 07:00)

Daily Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate, safe, and timely multi-drop deliveries within agreed windows
- Deliver totes to retail locations, offload goods correctly, and complete paperwork
- Collect returns or waste as required
- Maintain safe working practices, including proper load securing
- Provide excellent customer service
- Report any vehicle defects via the Transport Office
- Attend necessary training for compliance
Requirements
To succeed at GXO, you must have:
- A valid UK Category Class 2 licence
- A digital tachograph card and an active Driver CPC
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding certain endorsements: DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT)
- Experience in multi-drop/store deliveries (preferable but not essential)
- Exceptional customer care skills (written and verbal)
- Strong geographical knowledge – preferably with London driving experience
