Job Description
Tru7 Group is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Heavy Plant Moving Driver to join our growing Transport team.
This is a great opportunity for a professional HGV driver who enjoys operating a range of modern vehicles and transporting heavy plant and equipment safely between sites.
You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of plant and machinery, ensuring equipment is loaded, transported and delivered safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 rigid vehicle to transport heavy plant and machinery
- Loading and unloading plant safely and efficiently
- Correctly positioning and securing machinery for transportation
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all loads are transported in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures
- Completing relevant delivery and collection paperwork
- Maintaining a professional attitude when representing Tru7 Group on customer and construction sites
- Working closely with the Transport and Plant teams
