About the Role

Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to work as part of a two-person crew on survey and maintenance contracts across the South West.

This is more than just a driving role. You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 support vehicle to various locations, but you will also be expected to support the operative on site when equipment is being used. This is a mix of driving and non-driving.

Duties Will Include

  • Driving the Class 2 support vehicle to and from site
  • Working as part of a two-person crew
  • Supporting the operative with survey and maintenance activities
  • Assisting with equipment on site
  • Jetting and camera work
  • Working safely around highways and live working environments
  • Completing varied work across different locations

Requirements

  • Streetworks card.
  • Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Minimum 2 Years’ HGV Driving Experience
  • Willingness to support surveying and maintenance activities on site
  • Good attitude and reliability
  • Comfortable working as part of a two-person crew
  • Flexible approach, as late shifts may be required at times
