About the Role
Albion Gases LTD are looking to grow our cylinder delivery team with the addition of a Class 2 Multi Drop Delivery Driver due to new contract wins in addition to an increase to our geographical area.
Based out of our yard in Dumbarton, Albion Gases are one of Scotland's largest and fastest growing suppliers of CO2 and mixed gas cylinders to some of the country's largest and most well-known pubs, clubs and hotels for use in beverage dispensing.
Responsibilities
This job involves delivering to licensed venues with high pressure gas cylinders, placing full bottles and collecting the empties from cellars in a safe, professional and efficient manner. Majority of the cylinders are now larger, being delivered into cages or ground floor cellars, utilising trollies and tail lifts.
With an ambitious growth plan for 2026, in addition to our existing customer base, is the reason for this job becoming available.
- City Centre driving experience is essential.
- Your duties will also include helping load and unload your vehicle as required and work to a high standard individually or part of a team.
- City centre runs are double manned.

Job Details
This job involves 1 paid night out per month, with accommodation, dinner and breakfast covered. An ADR in packages and class 2 gases would be an advantage however full training can be provided for the right applicant.
Ideal Candidate
- Full UK Driving License. No Dangerous Driving / drunk driving charges, or more than 6-points.
- Fit, strong and willing to put in the work. This job requires heavy manual handling, with cylinders weighing 25KG each, you'll be expected to carry these up and down stairs as part of day-to-day operation.
- Excellent Communication Skills. You'll be the face of our company when delivering to customers, an outgoing, customer-focused, personable attitude is essential.
- Geographical Knowledge of Scotland. We cover all of Central Scotland and beyond.
- Good writing and numeracy skills. You'll be expected to collect payment in cash, write invoices and delivery notes and relay information back to the office.
- Previous Delivery Driver Experience and a good standard of driving. As a fast-growing company, although full training is provided, we expect any successful candidate to be able to drive to a high standard and have some experience in City Centre Driving / Deliveries.
- Good Understanding of Tachograph and Working Time Directive is essential.

What We Offer
- £16.50 Per Hour, 8.5 Hours a Day, 5 Days a week. 8.30AM - 5.30PM (30 Minute Lunch)
