Class 2 Refuse Driver – Rugby - NEW PASSES ACCEPTED

Start Time: 06:00 AM
Pay Rate: £17.93 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Refuse Drivers to join our team in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work with early morning starts.
The Role
As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on designated routes, working alongside a team of loaders to ensure waste and recycling collections are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
- Complete scheduled collection routes.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Work closely with the loading crew.
- Comply with all road traffic laws and health and safety procedures.
- Deliver excellent standards of customer service when interacting with the public.

Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferred.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work early mornings and as part of a team.
