Location: Shaftesbury Pay: £14.59 per hour Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a busy waste and recycling team in Shaftesbury.
You will drive a Category C (Class 2) refuse collection vehicle, completing designated routes for household, commercial and recycling collections. You will work as part of a crew and assist with loading and manual handling when required.

- Safely operate Class 2 refuse collection vehicles
- Complete household, commercial and recycling collection routes
- Carry out routine vehicle checks
- Assist with loading bins and containers when required
- Report missed collections, access issues and vehicle faults
- Follow health & safety procedures
- Work effectively as part of the collection crew
Driver Requirements
- Full Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Previous waste management or similar driving experience desirable
- Local knowledge of Dorset desirable
- Manual handling training desirable
