Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a role that offers stability, independence, and variety?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established local business for a Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous vacuum tanker experience who enjoys working independently, providing excellent customer service, and taking pride in their work.

The Role
You’ll be operating a fixed wheelbase 18-tonne vacuum tanker, carrying out septic tank emptying, cleaning, and jetting work across the local area.
Work will be carried out at residential and commercial properties.
This role requires a professional driver who can represent the business positively when dealing with customers and who takes a proactive approach to vehicle care, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 vacuum tanker safely and efficiently
- Emptying septic tanks and carrying out associated cleaning and jetting work
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Accurately completing delivery notes, vehicle logs, and related paperwork
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional vehicle
- Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and dispatch teams
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Previous vacuum tanker experience
- Good working knowledge of septic tanks and private foul drainage systems
- Strong understanding of road transport legislation and safe driving practices
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively
