Role Description
This full-time, on-site Class 2 tanker driver role is based in the South of England Area. The role involves safely operating Class 2 tanker vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver liquid waste materials in line with company procedures and legal requirements. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
- Following designated routes and schedules
- Completing delivery and collection documentation
- Adhering to safety and environmental regulations

The driver will interact with customers on-site, ensuring a professional service, clear communication, and proper handling of any queries or issues. The role also includes:
- Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
- Reporting defects or maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborating with the operations team to support efficient transport and waste disposal services
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills with proven experience operating Class 2 or equivalent heavy vehicles.
- Valid relevant commercial driving license (e.g., CDL Class A or equivalent) and clean driving record.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to safely operate tanker trucks and related equipment, including basic mechanical awareness.
- Knowledge of transport, waste handling, and health and safety regulations; previous tanker or waste sector experience is an advantage.
- Ability to follow schedules, complete paperwork accurately, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in the South of England Area and perform occasional overtime as needed.
- Reliable, safety-focused attitude and the physical ability to manage driving and manual handling tasks.
