Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm
Pay: £15.34–£16.34 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, plus every second Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a busy building materials distribution team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for a role that could lead to a permanent position, with HIAB training provided for the right candidate.
The Role
- Deliver building materials to customers and sites
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Operate the vehicle responsibly and in line with company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
- Work closely with the branch and warehouse teams

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am–5:00pm
- Every second Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm
- 42.5 hours per week

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified and experienced Class 2 (LGV Cat C) driver
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Customer-focused with a professional approach
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Ideally experienced in building materials distribution, although this is not essential
- Interested in developing their skills through HIAB training
