Role Description
The Class 2 tipper driver role is a full-time position with a hybrid working arrangement, based primarily in the Kingston upon Hull area. Day-to-day duties include:

- Operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle to transport materials safely and efficiently
- Following planned routes
- Adhering to all road traffic and site safety regulations
- Completing necessary vehicle checks
- Reporting any faults
- Ensuring accurate documentation of deliveries, collections, and load details
- Communicating with dispatch, site personnel, and customers
- Managing load security
- Supporting basic administrative tasks related to transport operations

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional early starts or late finishes, may be required based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license
- Driver CPC
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Strong knowledge of tipper operations, load securing, and safe handling of materials
- Familiarity with transport regulations, road safety rules, and working time/driver hours requirements
- Basic vehicle maintenance awareness, including pre-trip checks and reporting mechanical issues promptly
- Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic record-keeping and time management skills for managing delivery notes, logs, and schedules
- Experience in construction, aggregates, waste, or similar tipper-related sectors is beneficial
- Willingness to comply with company policies, health and safety procedures, and ongoing training requirements is essential.
