Location: Yeovil

About The Role
As a Class 2 Tramper, you will:
- Deliver garage doors nationwide to builders' merchants and construction sites across the UK using a curtain side trailer.
- Ensure loads are transported safely and securely through the effective use of ratchet straps and occasional manual handling.
- Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued mobile device, helping to maintain the highest standards of roadworthiness, safety, and reliability.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing timely updates to support efficient operations and deliver excellent customer service.
- Undertake overnight stays as required, embracing the variety and independence that comes with long-distance driving.
- Participate in regular training and development programmes to enhance your skills and stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- You must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence, enabling you to operate rigid vehicles with confidence and professionalism.
- A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, representing our brand with professionalism and care at every stop.
- You'll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.
- A confident and polite communicator, you'll work closely with colleagues across transport and logistics, contributing to a supportive and efficient team environment.
- A good understanding of UK road networks, particularly across Wales and surrounding regions, will help you navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.

- Competitive Salary: £37,765 per annum - £41,698 per annum, depending on hours worked. PLUS up to £5,005pa TAX FREE night out allowance.
- Shift Hours: Starting at 06:00hrs, Monday to Friday, plus a Sunday shift on a rota basis. Sunday shifts are paid at £22.70 per hour.
