Job Description:
Class 2 Driver Required PR2 Area (Weekend Work Available)
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team for ongoing weekend work in the PR2 area.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekend shifts with a great work-life balance. The role is collections only, with most shifts completed in 56 hours, while you're paid for a full 8-hour shift.
Shift Details
- Days: Saturdays & Sundays
- Start Time: 9:00 AM
- Typical Shift Length: 56 hours
- Guaranteed Pay: 8 hours per shift

The Role
- Completing collections only, no deliveries
- Up to 8 collections per shift
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks before each shift
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
- Providing a professional and courteous service at collection points
- Complying with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Valid Class 2 Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic

Pay & Benefits
- £15.28 per hour + holiday pay (£17.12/h with holiday included)
- Pay increases to £16.36 per hour after 12 weeks (18.33/h with holiday included)
- Guaranteed 8 hours' pay per shift, despite most shifts lasting only 56 hours
