Year 2 Class Teacher Sutton January 2027 Start
A nurturing and high-achieving primary school within the London Borough of Sutton is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join its Key Stage 1 team from January 2027.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary education, preparing them for the transition into Key Stage 2. They will deliver engaging lessons that promote strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills while fostering a love of learning.
The School Is Seeking An Individual Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, although strong ECTs are encouraged
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Creates a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Has high expectations for pupil achievement and wellbeing
- Works collaboratively with colleagues and parents
