Alfreton Park is a lively, successful special school for pupils aged 2 to 19 years, with severe and profound learning difficulties.
We are looking to recruit a Class Teacher who has extremely high expectations to ensure children regardless of gender, ethnicity and religion achieve to the best of their ability.
- We are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and energetic teacher to join our specialist team to create better outcomes and life chances for our students in their preparation for adult life.
- The post offers fantastic opportunities for an innovative SEND teacher with passion to bring further challenge and ambition to learning for pupils with profound and complex needs.

The successful applicant needs to be able to:
- Respond to our pupils’ learning levels
- Support pupils in all areas including self-help skills, physical interventions, personal care and a range of medical interventions
- Handle behaviors that can challenge those supporting them, including some physically aggressive behaviors
