Cheslyn Hay Primary Academy is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and committed Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking to appoint an inspirational educator to teach in Key Stage 2 (Year 4), working alongside dedicated colleagues who are passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum and continuous provision principles.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters exploration and active learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school events.
  • Promote the school’s values and manage behaviour in line with school policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven track record of securing good progress through high-quality teaching.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
