KS2 Class Teacher - Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Fixed-Term

To start as soon as possible, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative KS2 Class Teacher to join our team on a part-time (0.5 FTE) fixed-term basis for one year. This vacancy arises due to a permanent member of staff temporarily reducing their working hours for a fixed period and will be reviewed towards the end of the contract date. This role will form part of a job-share in Year 5 working Monday, Tuesday, and every fourth Wednesday in school with off-site PPA on alternate weeks.

Edgewick is a 2-form entry primary school situated on the Foleshill Road. We have the highest expectations for all staff and pupils and are passionate about the enrichment of an appropriate and tailored curriculum for all.

What is the Job Role?

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who:

  • Has strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Is flexible, organized, and able to contribute to planning within a job-share arrangement
