About This Role
A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented, passionate, and ambitious professional to join our friendly team here at Glebelands Primary Academy. We are looking for a teacher to join our teaching team in KS2. In addition to having excellent subject knowledge and a willingness to learn, candidates will need to demonstrate that they have high expectations as well as a commitment to place children’s learning and wellbeing at the heart of their practice. Our school benefits from strong staff retention, reflecting the positive, collaborative culture we work hard to maintain. You will have responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for your class, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and calm environment for all.
Desirable Applicants Should
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner
- Have an uncompromising passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning
- Have high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum expectations
- Have a commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Have the ability and determination to inspire and motivate children to achieve their potential
- Use initiative and drive to maximize pupil outcomes including those with SEND
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Be able to create an orderly and organized classroom environment
