Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from Monday 2nd November 2026

(M1-6 dependent upon experience)

About the Role

From Monday 2nd November 2026 the Headteacher and governors are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic teacher. The successful candidates will be hard working individuals who are fully committed to our school ethos ‘Working Together as One’.

We are looking for a teacher who can play a real part in shaping the learning journey for our children. Are you that special person who can help us to make a real difference to our pupils’ lives and help them to aspire to what they want to be?

It is an exciting time to be joining Randlay Primary School and Nursery as we are currently exploring the opportunity of joining Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a consistently good to outstanding teacher who inspires pupils.
  • Be committed to children enjoying and engaging in their learning whilst being challenged through an interesting and diverse curriculum offer.
  • Be a real team player.
  • Be able to create and maintain effective partnerships with parents/carers, the community and other schools.
