This would suit a Primary Class Teacher who can create a purposeful classroom, build strong relationships with pupils and deliver consistently high-quality lessons.

The Role at a Glance

  • Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Establish high standards of behaviour, effort and achievement
  • Use assessment to identify gaps and adapt teaching accordingly
  • Work closely with support staff to meet individual pupil needs
  • Contribute to wider school activities and the life of the school

The School Wants Someone Who

  • Has QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Can motivate pupils with different abilities and learning needs
  • Is organised, reliable and confident working independently
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and continuous improvement

ECTs with strong placement experience may be considered, although the school is particularly interested in teachers with a proven track record in the classroom.
