Class Teacher 2026-27

About Our School

St Barnabas and St Philip’s Church of England Primary School is a popular one-form-entry primary school in the heart of Kensington.

Due to the relocation of one of our fantastic teachers, we are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our team and build on the excellent work already taking place.

Since September 2022, the school has undergone a significant transformation. Our 2024 Ofsted inspection recognised this progress, judging the school Good overall, with Outstanding judgements for Leadership and Management, Behaviour and Attitudes, and Personal Development.

In 2026, we are proud of how far we have come and ambitious about our next chapter. As we continue our journey towards our next Ofsted inspection, our focus is on strengthening teaching, embedding our ambitious curriculum and securing the best possible outcomes for every child. We are looking for a teacher who brings high expectations, a love of teaching and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative and dedicated team.

Our Vision and Values

Our vision, “Nurture, Grow, Flourish”, is rooted in our Christian ethos and shapes our approach to learning and school life. Our values of Wisdom, Perseverance, Joy, Hope, Community and Compassion guide how we learn, work and care for one another. We welcome children and staff of all faiths and none.

We share close links with our parish communities at St Barnabas and St Philip’s churches. We are committed to nurturing children’s social, emotional and spiritual well-being alongside providing a challenging and engaging curriculum.

Our Successful Candidate

We are looking to appoint a committed, creative and enthusiastic teacher who has high expectations for every pupil and works well within a collaborative team. You will bring strong classroom practice, a thoughtful approach to meeting children’s needs and a determination to help every child flourish.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
