CLASS TEACHER (Y2 Maternity Cover)

At Cheswick Green Primary School, Cheswick Way, Solihull, B90 4HG

PAY RANGE: MPS and UPS (ECTs are welcome to apply)

Required from: 4th January 2027 until 17th December 2027 (full time, fixed contract)

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our passionate, nurturing team at Cheswick Green Primary School as maternity cover in Key Stage One.

You must have:

  • An outstanding attitude and commitment to going over and above to support the progress and attainment of pupils.
  • A proven successful record of a range of teaching experiences.
  • An ambitious, reflective outlook and commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Dedication to the use of educational research, the ability to use feedback to continuously improve practice and an interest in pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication skills, organisation, professionalism and the ability to work as part of a hard-working team.
  • Strong, confident and positive behaviour management skills.
