Classic Car Bodyshop Apprentice

An opportunity to learn the skills required to begin a career in the repair and restoration of classic cars. Areas covered will be metal work, welding, fabrication, paint preparation and spraying, along with general car repair work.

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will support a range of vehicle restoration, repair, and fabrication activities while developing practical skills in:

• Paint preparation and surface finishing
• Paint spraying and refinishing processes
• Fibreglass repair and restoration
• Filler application and panel preparation
• Metalwork repair and panel replacement
• Welding and fabrication
• Rust identification, treatment, and repair
• Custom vehicle modifications and bespoke project work
• Mechanical dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly

This role involves working on a variety of restoration and repair projects, following safe working practices, maintaining workshop standards, and assisting with the repair, modification, and finishing of vehicles and vehicle components.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
