Protocol Education is working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Bath and the surrounding areas who are seeking enthusiastic and caring Classroom Support Assistants to join their teams.

The Role
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping children feel engaged, supported and confident throughout the school day.
Your Responsibilities May Include
- Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities
- Working alongside teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in learning
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, SEMH and EAL
- Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs
Who We're Looking For
We Would Love To Hear From Candidates Who
- Have experience working with children or young people in schools, nurseries, clubs, sports coaching, tutoring or community settings
- Are patient, approachable and resilient
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Can remain positive and adaptable in a busy school environment
- Are eager to learn and develop within education

What We Need to Clear You
- Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
- Two proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill or council tax statement)
- A CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education, with any gaps explained
- References covering the last 2 years (including childcare references where applicable)
- An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
