Cleaner
Location: Quarry Swimming and Fitness Centre, Shrewsbury SY1 1RU
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part-time 25 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 0700-1230, Saturday 1300-1830 and Sunday 1200-1730

As a Cleaner, you'll help create clean, safe and welcoming environments that customers, colleagues and the wider community can enjoy with confidence. Your work will have a positive impact on communities by supporting wellbeing, promoting trust in our facilities and helping people stay active in spaces they can take pride in.
What you’ll do as a Cleaner
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across designated areas, following agreed schedules and specifications
- Deliver consistent, friendly service to customers and Local Authority clients
- Follow all health and safety procedures to support a strong safety culture
- Work flexibly as part of a team to meet operational needs
- Keep accurate basic records such as timesheets, absence logs or discrepancy reports
- Help create a positive experience for everyone using the facility

Does this sound like you?
- Experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable but not essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong timekeeping and a reliable approach
- Able to understand and follow basic health and safety guidance
- Presentable, customer-focused and committed to delivering a great service
