Role Description

The Cleaner is a part-time, on-site role located in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role involves maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments in clients’ homes and community spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. The Cleaner will be responsible for tasks such as cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, managing rubbish and recycling, and caring for communal areas according to agreed schedules and standards.

The role includes following health and safety guidelines, using cleaning products and equipment responsibly, and respecting the privacy, dignity, and preferences of clients while working in their homes. Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, including safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and health and safety procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with a respectful and compassionate approach to working in clients’ homes and community settings.
  • Reliable time management, ability to work independently, and flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and environments.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to read instructions, complete simple records, and follow written procedures.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, lifting, bending, and carrying supplies, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Previous experience in care, community services, or domestic support is beneficial but not required.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom; willingness to undergo background checks in line with safeguarding requirements.
