Job Title: Cleaner
Location: Highbury Campus
Salary: Pro Rata £10,603.80 - £10,901.73, £24,521.29 - £25,210.25 Full Time Equivalent per annum
Hours of work: 16 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year, Part-Time, Permanent

About The Role:
As a Cleaner your role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas such as classrooms, corridors, offices and communal spaces. Cleaners are responsible for tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing bins and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for students, visitors and staff. You may also be tasked with restocking supplies and cleaning products. Additionally, cleaners play a crucial role in helping to prevent the spread of infections and illnesses by following proper cleaning processes and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Hours of Work:
- Monday: 6:00am to 10:00am
- Tuesday to Friday: 6:00am to 9:00am (16 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
- Hoovering, dusting and mopping floors to remove dirt and debris
- Changing bins and disposing of waste efficiently
- Sanitation of surfaces to prevent the spread of infections etc
- Restocking of supplies like toilet paper, soap and cleaning products as required
- Following proper cleaning procedures to ensure effective cleaning and safety
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines including utilising appropriate PPE
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities
