Wee Shine On is a family-run cleaning business owned and operated by a dedicated husband and wife team, fully trained and fully insured for professional peace of mind. The company is highly recommended and consistently rated 5 stars by clients. Wee Shine On provides cleaning services to both commercial and domestic properties across Scotland. Services include regular cleaning, deep cleaning, carpet, upholstery, leather, and oven cleaning, as well as AirBnB, caravan, and holiday home changeovers with linen wash services. The team focuses on reliable, high-quality service and building long-term relationships with clients.
Role Description
The Cleaner will be responsible for delivering high-standard cleaning services in commercial and domestic settings, as well as short-term rental properties such as AirBnBs, caravans, and holiday homes. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role also involves deep cleaning, carpet and upholstery care, oven cleaning, and preparing properties for guest changeovers, including linen removal, washing, and replacement.
This is a full-time remote role, with work taking place on client premises across assigned locations and scheduling coordinated remotely with the Wee Shine On team. The Cleaner is expected to follow health and safety guidelines, use cleaning products responsibly, report any maintenance issues, and ensure a positive, respectful experience for clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in professional cleaning (domestic, commercial, or hospitality) and familiarity with standard cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of deep cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipment for carpets, upholstery, leather, and ovens.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow checklists, and commitment to maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Good time management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple properties and changeovers.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations and flexibility to work varied hours, including some evenings or weekends if required.
- Understanding of basic health and safety practices, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Professional, respectful communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Right to work in the UK; prior experience in hospitality or facility services is an advantage but not required.
