DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
You’ll be part of the team maintaining a distinctive 40-storey residential tower in the heart of London’s tech corridor, moments from Old Street Underground. With a 24-hour concierge and premium amenities including a pool, gym and cinema, the environment is high-spec and fast-paced, serving professionals who expect seamless service. Set at the crossroads of Shoreditch, Islington, Farringdon and the City, the development blends hotel-style spaces with residential comfort, giving you a varied, engaging place to work every day.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will keep shared spaces, amenities and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and welcoming across a large, modern high-rise. You’ll work closely with concierge and management, reacting to the day’s needs while following a clear cleaning schedule. Your shifts will include morning, daytime or evening patterns to deliver consistent standards across the development.
What Success Looks Like
- Residents and visitors consistently experience pristine, well-presented spaces at all times.
- You take ownership of your zones, spotting issues early and resolving or escalating promptly.
- Safety-first approach is evident in your handling of chemicals, equipment and waste.
- You communicate clearly with concierge and colleagues, keeping logs and handovers up to date.
- Stock levels are maintained and equipment is cared for, reducing downtime and costs.
- You are reliable, punctual and flexible, supporting team cover when needed.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Cleaning lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells and entrances to a hotel-quality standard.
- Servicing amenity spaces including the poolside areas, gym, spa changing rooms and cinema.
- Managing waste and recycling: collecting, segregating, compacting and arranging collections.
- Carrying out back-of-house cleaning, including loading bays, bins stores and staff areas.
- Using and maintaining floor machines and equipment safely; completing daily checklists.
- Reporting defects, spills and security concerns immediately; supporting ad-hoc resident requests.
Who This Role Is For
- You take pride in presentation and have a sharp eye for detail and consistency.
- You’re people-focused, courteous and comfortable interacting with residents and guests.
- You’re proactive, organised and calm under pressure in a busy, premium environment.
- You’re comfortable with rotating shifts and can adapt to changing priorities.
- You’re physically fit for a role that involves standing, walking and some lifting.
Experience That Helps
- Previous cleaning experience in residential developments, hotels or corporate offices.
- Familiarity with high-rise operations, lifts, loading bays and amenity spaces.
- Confident using floor care machinery and understanding basic COSHH principles.
- Experience maintaining pool, gym or spa changing areas to high hygiene standards.
- Comfortable using radios/handheld devices and completing simple logs and checklists.
