Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team in the Northampton area. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a range of premises, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean kitchens, toilets, washrooms, and communal areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns.
- Ensure all work is completed within scheduled timeframes.

Requirements
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties.
