Cleaner – Lilleshall Sports Centre, Shropshire

📍 Lilleshall Sports Centre, TF10 9AT
💷 Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour
🕒 Working Hours: 20 or 30 hours per week | Flexible shifts Monday–Sunday Operating times: 6.00am – 2.30pm
About the Role
At Lilleshall Leisure Trust, we aim to fostering active, healthy lifestyles in a safe, warm, clean, friendly, and fun environment. We’re seeking a Customer-focused, detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain a sparkling, hygienic facility that customers love.
As the Cleaner, you’ll ensure_cleaning tasks_ meet high standards with a safe and professional approach. Your role involves:
- Maintaining immaculate hygiene across the sports centre
- Ensuring immaculate cleaning of all areas (floors, worktops, tables)
- Removing rubbish on schedule
- Exceeding client expectations with a passionate, proactive mindset
Responsibilities
- Executing daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ensuring health & safety protocols are followed at all times
- Working independently with a high level of initiative
- Cleaning in-suite facilities (showers, toilets, bedrooms)
- Disinfecting and sanitising high-touch surfaces
- Removing waste from all areas
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the SERCO team

Requirements
✔ Experience in commercial cleaning, particularly in high-sanitation environments (e.g., en-suite bedrooms) ✔ Reliable, hardworking, and adaptable professional ✔ Attention to detail – no job too small ✔ Confidence in working without direct supervision where necessary ✔ Proactive approach towards exceeding customer expectations
