Job Description
Kindred are looking for hardworking and reliable cleaners to be based in an educational building located in: Bristol
Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Yeo Valley & Rural Outreach Children's Centre Bristol Avon, Bristol BS49 5DX
Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
About The Role
Join Kindred as a dedicated Cleaner and play a crucial role in creating a safe, welcoming, and pristine environment across our sites. You will be fundamental in maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, toilets, and common areas, directly contributing to the well-being and positive experience of everyone on our premises. General Cleaning Tasks:
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
- Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
Specialist & Deep Cleaning:
- Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).
- Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Using cleaning equipment safely (e.g., buffers, steamers, vacuums), ensuring proper storage after use.
- Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.
Teamwork & Independence:
- Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
- Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
Customer Care & Presentation:
- Ensuring cleaning standards reflect Kindred's commitment to a professional, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
- Being polite and respectful when working in areas where staff, clients, or visitors are present.

Minimum Criteria for this role:
