Location: Sidegate Primary School, Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: ALT Grade B £3,651.22 - £3,708.50 Annually Actual
Contract Type: Part Time, Fixed Term until 31/08/2027
Working Pattern: 6 Hours, 42 Weeks per year. Tues & Thurs 3pm - 6pm
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at Sidegate Primary School, a welcoming primary school in Ipswich where high expectations and a strong sense of community sit at the heart of school life. This important role helps ensure our pupils, staff and visitors benefit from a clean, safe and well-maintained environment every day. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and is committed to maintaining high standards across the school. Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school, including classrooms, communal areas and toilets.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks, including specialist cleaning during school closure periods.
- Prepare rooms and workspaces for school activities and meetings.
- Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies, monitor stock levels and store equipment safely.
- Follow health and safety procedures, report faults or safety concerns, and complete required records and checklists.
