Cleaner - Duckmanton Primary School

Redhill Academy Trust pay scale Band 5 scale point 28

Actual salary: £4,320 per annum (Full Time Equivalent: £25,218)

7.5 hours per week - Part time, Permanent, Term time only

Required from as soon as possible

Do you take pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments? We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team and help ensure that our school provides an outstanding environment for pupils, staff and visitors every day.

About You…

You will be a dependable and conscientious individual with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail. Whether you have previous cleaning experience or are looking to develop your skills, you will be committed to maintaining high standards, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and take pride in delivering a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You will understand the importance of health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality, and be willing to undertake relevant training where required.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas of the school, including classrooms, offices, communal areas and washroom facilities. Duties will include routine cleaning, replenishing supplies, and supporting periodic deep-cleaning activities to ensure the school remains safe, welcoming and ready for use. Working as part of a supportive team, you will play an important role in contributing to the health, wellbeing and positive experience of everyone within the school community.
